Thank you for your contributions

Thank you to all who have contributed to the Safer Stonnington Community Safety Pin Drop map and survey since May. The map and survey closed at 4pm Friday 5 September. We have had a significant amount of community input:

  • 887 pins dropped on the Map
  • 302 surveys completed.

What we heard

  • Concerns about anti-social behaviour, particularly concentrated in and around the Chapel Street precinct.
  • Concerns around lighting – dark areas, and broken lights which need replacing.
  • Traffic safety concerns for pedestrians and vehicles.

What happens to your feedback

We will review insights and allocate actions to internal staff. We’ll also share with Victoria Police, the Community Safety Committee and the Chapel Street Taskforce.

You can find out more about current safety initiatives and projects undertaken by the City of Stonnington here.

We plan to run the Safer Stonnington Community Feedback Map and Survey annually, shifting when the opportunity to provide feedback will open and close to account for seasonal differences.
