Amendment C339ston proposes to rezone several existing or planned areas of public open space across the municipality to Public Park and Recreation Zone and delete redundant or unnecessary overlays.

Amendment C339ston is being exhibited from 28 August to 29 September 2025.

Submissions must be made in writing giving the submitter's name and contact address and clearly state the grounds on which the Amendment is supported or opposed, as well as indicating what changes (if any) the submitter wishes to suggest.

Next Steps

Following exhibition, a report will be prepared for Council to consider any submissions and whether to adopt or abandon the amendment, or to request an independent Panel, as required, to consider the Amendment and submissions.

In accordance with clause 4(2) of Ministerial Direction No.15 the following panel hearing dates have been set for this amendment:

  • Directions hearing: 8 December 2025
  • Panel hearing: 9 February 2026
