Amendment C341ston: 13-15 Avalon Road, Armadale Heritage Review

Amendment C341 proposes to amend the Stonnington Planning Scheme to implement the recommendation of the ‘Former Ken-Ailsa, 13-15 Avalon Road, Armadale Heritage Citation’ prepared by Trethowan Architecture.

Proposed Change

The Amendment applies an individual Heritage Overlay to 13-15 Avalon Road, Armadale on a permanent basis.

Amendment C341ston is being exhibited from 6 February to 7 March 2025.

Submissions must be made in writing giving the submitter's name and contact address, and clearly state the grounds on which the Amendment is supported or opposed, as well as indicating what changes (if any) the submitter wishes to suggest.

Next Steps

Following exhibition, a report will be prepared for Council to consider any submissions and whether to adopt or abandon the amendment, or to request an independent Panel, as required, to consider the Amendment and submissions.

Panel hearing dates
In accordance with clause 4(2) of Ministerial Direction No.15 the following panel hearing dates have been pre-set for this amendment:

  • Directions hearing: 5 June 2025
  • Panel hearings: week of 21 July 2025

In accordance with the public availability requirements in Division 6A of Part 9 of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 (Vic), Council will disclose your Personal Information to any person who wants to inspect or receive a hard or soft copy of the submissions, in person at Council’s offices, from the date of submission up until two months after the amendment comes into operation or lapses. Council also discloses submissions to Planning Panels Victoria. In accordance with sections 197F and 197G of the PE Act, Council will not disclose your Personal Information online, and will redact any details about you before submissions are published on Council’s website.
