Trial a new local bike route, providing a quieter and lower speed alternative to Burke Road. This bike route would provide access to Gardiner Station and Harold Holt Swim Centre. Safer speeds reduce both the likelihood of, and the consequences of crashes. Trial would include a 30km/hr speed limit with new signage, new ‘sharrow’ pavement markings, and three new sets of speed cushions. Trial would run for 18 months with further opportunities to provide feedback to help determine if it is made permanent.
