Council recognises the impact on residents and surrounding businesses with the construction of Cato Square.

Plans are being put in place to deliver a precinct-wide real-time car park management system. State-of-the-art digital directional signage and a wide range of targeted measures will ensure that residents and visitors can access parking in the area.

Council is consulting with traders and the community while actively pursuing a wide number of measures to minimise the impact of the construction of Cato Square. We will use creative responses to ensure access to a car park while the new underground car park is constructed under Cato Square.
