Our Meet Your Councillors program provides opportunities for people to speak with their local representatives in the community. It’s a chance to ask questions, suggest ideas and exchange views and information with your Councillors.

Community Meetings

Meet Your Councillor Community Meetings are a chance to share ideas, spark inspiration and ask questions with your Councillors. These important meetings are returning to in-person after moving online in 2021 due to the pandemic.

This year we’re introducing a new table-based discussion format for deeper conversations. Rather than a formal microphone-based question and answer format, people will be able to talk directly with Councillors about issues that are important to them, with senior Council officers also available.

Bring your questions, ideas, and inspiration to share with your Councillors. You’ll also be invited to take part in City of Stonnington engagement activities underway at the time. No bookings are required, and refreshments will be provided. All attendees will be asked to agree to our Mutual Respect Charter.

Meetings run from 6-8pm on the dates listed below (if you're reading this on a mobile/tablet device) or on the right (if you're reading this on a computer) and are designed to be drop-in sessions – come at a time that suits you to share your ideas or ask questions.

Not sure which ward you live in? Check our map. Residents will also receive a postcard inviting them to their Community Meeting in the weeks leading up.

Listening posts

Listening posts are more informal opportunities where Councillors will be out in the community to speak with people in places like our parks, precincts and libraries. Upcoming opportunities are listed below (if you're reading this on a mobile/tablet device) or on the right (if you're reading this on a computer).
